Get ready for the wildest 72-hour rollercoaster of your life: you’ll roll with a tight crew of max 18 people your age, led by a local uni student who’s basically your new best mate and professional vibe curator. Expect non-stop jaw-dropping moments—storming the actual Game of Thrones kasbah, squeezing between 300-metre pink cliffs, sunset camel convoys across golden dunes, epic sandboarding wipeouts, a desert sunrise that feels like cheating reality, and a campfire party under the thickest blanket of stars you’ve ever seen. Every night you’ll devour ridiculous amounts of home-cooked tagines and Berber pizza (vegan? sorted), sleep in proper beds—first in a cliff-side kasbah with a pool, then in a luxury desert camp with hot showers—and wake up wondering why every trip isn’t this good. Everything is included except lunch and souvenirs: A/C minibus with charging ports and bangers on repeat, all transfers, entrance fees, camels, sandboards, the lot. By the time we drop you back in Marrakech you’ll have a new family, 10,000 photos, and a WhatsApp group that never shuts up.
Because every other student trip is either a giant coach of randoms or a cheap-and-cheerless hostel crawl—this one is built from the ground up for 17–25-year-olds by people who actually are 17–25. Small groups mean you’re never just a face in the crowd; by day two everyone knows your life story and your go-to karaoke anthem. Our local uni student guides spill all the secret spots, kill awkward silences, and turn three days into the kind of stories you’ll still be telling at your graduation party. It’s the only 3-day trip that actually delivers a proper Sahara night without rushing you or rinsing your wallet, it’s cheaper than a long weekend in Europe yet looks like you spent a month in a movie, and it’s stupidly easy to book with weekly departures and a free leader place for whoever rounds up the squad. Safe, female-friendly, 70% solo travelers who leave with a whole new crew—this is the one trip you’ll wish was longer and will never regret booking. Don’t graduate without these memories. 🏜️🔥
We leave Marrakech on our Morocco 3 days student tour at 7:30 a.m. in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus and immediately climb into the High Atlas Mountains through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m). Photo stops are mandatory – the views are insane. Mid-morning we reach Aït Benhaddou, the most famous fortified village in Morocco and location for Game of Thrones, Gladiator and many more films. Students have free time to climb to the top for panoramic selfies. After a relaxed lunch in a Berber village or under palm trees in Skoura, we drive the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs and the Valley of Roses until the landscape suddenly turns dramatic: red rock formations called “monkey fingers” announce we’ve arrived at Dades Gorges. A short sunset walk along the canyon is the perfect way to stretch the legs before checking into our beautiful kasbah hotel with swimming pool and terraces overlooking the gorge. Big family-style dinner, music, and the first night of many stories.
After breakfast with epic gorge views we make the short drive to Todra Gorges – 300-meter-high pink cliffs with a river running between them. Easy 20–30 minute walk for the best photos of the trip (guaranteed). Next stop is Erfoud, the fossil capital, where students can see (and buy cheap) real dinosaur-era souvenirs. By early afternoon we finally see the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rising from the horizon. At the edge of the desert we switch to camels for the classic 1.5-hour trek into the dunes while the sun sets – pure magic. For the brave ones, sandboards are ready to surf down the slopes. We reach our private luxury desert camp, climb the highest dune for the final rays of sunset, then gather around the campfire for drums, mint tea, Berber pizza (madfouna) and a night of singing, dancing and stargazing that students never forget. Real beds, hot showers and electricity in the camp – no suffering required
Those who manage to wake up early (totally worth it) watch the sunrise turn the dunes pink and orange. Breakfast in the desert, then camels (or 4×4 for the sleepy ones) take us back to the hotel base for a quick shower. We hit the road around 8:30 a.m., stop for lunch in Ouarzazate or a palm oasis, and cross the Atlas Mountains one last time (completely different light in the afternoon – new photos!). We arrive back in Marrakech between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., just in time for evening flights or one last night in the Red City. Drop-off at your riad or the airport – hugs, new WhatsApp groups, and promises to meet again. Our 3 days student tours to Morocco ends here.
