Cancellation Policy

At Sahara Serenity Tours we understand that sometimes travel plans may change. To provide our valued customers with a clear and fair cancellation policy, we have outlined the following guidelines for cancellations and refunds.

1. Cancellation Periods
  • Transfers & Day Trips: Cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the scheduled departure are eligible for a full refund.
  • Desert Tours & Camel Treks: Cancellations made at least 10 days prior to the scheduled departure are eligible for a full refund.
  • Multi-Day & Longer Travel Packages: Cancellations made at least 15 days prior to the scheduled departure are eligible for a full refund.
  • Private & Custom Luxury Tours / Big Groups: These may have specific cancellation terms that will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation Request

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our booking system. Please include your booking reference number and the reason for cancellation.

3. Cancellation Charges

  • Cancellations made outside the specified periods are subject to a minimal administrative fee.
  • Cancellations made within the cancellation period are generally non-refundable. In some cases, we may offer the option to reschedule (subject to availability) or apply the deposit to a future booking.

4. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed within 10 business days after receiving your cancellation request, subject to the terms and conditions of the booking.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. No-Show Policy

If you do not show up for your booking without prior notice, it will be considered a “no-show” and no refund will be issued. No-shows may also impact subsequent services in multi-day packages.

6. Accommodations and Service Provider Policies

Hotel, camp, transport, and other third-party service providers may have their own cancellation policies, which can affect the overall refund amount.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and lost baggage. This provides extra protection against unforeseen events.

8. Changes to Bookings

For date changes, name corrections, or other modifications, please contact us as soon as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

9. Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other events beyond our control), Sahara Serenity Tours reserves the right to modify or cancel bookings. We will work closely with you to offer suitable alternatives or refunds where possible.
