Your 3-day Marrakech to Fes desert tour begins at approximately 8:00 AM with pickup from your
hotel/riad or elsewhere in Marrakech. Leaving the city, drive southeast through the High Atlas, where you can enjoy wonderful views of traditional Berber villages
while stopping for photos at panoramic viewpoints. Stop for lunch at Ait Ben Haddou
village where you will also visit the ancient and spectacular Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.

Kasbah or say “fortified village” is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 and has featured many famous films such as Lawrence of

Arabia, Babel, and Gladiator.After a short drive to Ouarzazate, you will stop to see the largest studio in Africa, which is
optional. Then head to Boumalne, passing the Rose Valley on the way. You can visit Dades Valley rock formations (called Monkey Fingers) before going to

to walk under the great Todgha Canyon, which is cut by the Todgha River. The depth of the gorge is 300 meters.
When we arrive in Merzouga, your luggage will be transferred in a

while you go on a camel trek. Watch a brilliant red and orange sunset over Erg
Chebbi. Spend an unforgettable night in the Sahara desert with the locals, playing drums, sharing stories, and gazing at the starry sky.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA ⇢ ZIZ VALLEY ⇢ MIDDLE ATLAS ⇢ IFRANE ⇢ FES

An early start this morning will be rewarded with a peaceful and stunning sunrise.
After a delicious breakfast in the camp, you can leave the camp by camel trek back to or in a
vehicle. Leave Merzouga and drive to Fez. On the way you will stop with a panoramic view of
Zizi valley, full of palm trees and some villages. In the Middle Atlas cedar forest
you can see Barbary Monkeys
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbary_macaque), they are one of the few species that live in
cold climates. Stop for a break and coffee in Ifrane, the name of the town is Switzerland of Morocco.
