Our 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga take you up in Marrakech and drive you to the Dades Gorges, where you will be able to see breathtaking landscapes with a variety of colors. We’ll explore Ait Benhaddou’s kasbah before heading to the Sahara desert. We spend the night in the middle of the dunes and eat our meal over a campfire. We spend the night at a desert camp, where we sleep in Nomad tents.
Our 4-day journey from Marrakech to Merzouga begins with a drive via the Tizi n’Tichka (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains to Ait Benhaddou, a walled ksar with exquisite Kasbahs. Ait Benhaddou has been utilized as a natural background by several filmmakers. After lunch, we’ll depart for Dades via Ouarzazate, Skoura’s palm grove, and the Dades Valley, where we’ll spend our first night. Overnight in Dades
The second day starts with a visit to the Dades gorges, then a drive through the Dades valley’s colorful Berber communities along a path of 1000 kasbahs to Tineghir, which boasts a wonderful palm grove. We’ll continue to the Todgha Gorge, where we’ll go through 300-meter-deep canyons, a favorite destination for mountain climbers. After that, we’ll go to the Merzouga Sahara desert‘s Erg Chebbi dunes, stopping for lunch along the way. In a hotel on the Erg Chebbi Sahara dunes’ slopes, spend the night in a peaceful setting.
We’ll journey to the desert to visit the Erg Chebbi dunes, which are breathtaking. We’ll do a round of the desert dunes, allowing you the opportunity to witness both the nomads’ way of life and the desert’s incredible dynamic contrasts. We’ll head to the village of Khamlia to watch the Gnawa musicians. Lunch will be traditional Berber pizza in Rissani’s historic capital. We’ll ride camels in the afternoon and spend the night in a desert tent to see the sunset over the dunes. While looking at the stars and the rising moon in the stunning Sahara desert, we’ll have a traditional tagine supper, sip wonderful mint tea, and listen to traditional Berber music. The next morning, get up and have a fantastic lunch while watching the beautiful sunrise. After that, we’ll travel back to Marrakech through Alnif, Tazarine, Nkoub, Agdez, and Ouarzazate, where we’ll follow the Tizi n Tichka across the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive late in the day in Marrakech.
