At 8 a.m., an experienced driver will take you on a 5-day private desert excursion from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains, passing over Tizi Tichka (2260m). You’ll stop along the way to take in the scenery and see the Argan oil cooperative. After lunch at a local restaurant, spend the afternoon seeing Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, via Rose Valley, go to Dades Valley. Spend the night in a hotel.
After breakfast in the hotel, drive back through the valley to visit the stunning rock formation “the monkey Fingers,” then on to Todra Gorge, where you’ll walk beneath the 300-meter-high red wall where many rock-climbers come to enjoy their favorite sport. We’ll continue our journey to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch before departing for Merzouga, where you’ll be greeted with a drink of mint tea before checking into your accommodations.
